Not as good as I thought it was going to be. Expectations were high because come on, with a name like this , I felt really anxious to put then to the test! I bought 25 wings- Half hot and half mild. First impression was that the wings had good size. However, the sauce/seasoning was bland. The hot wings tasted like what the mild sauce should be. I felt that the mild wings had no flavor and there might have well have been so sauce on them at all. I don't want to sound like I am bashing this resturaunt. The service was great. The bartender was smiling and greeted me as soon as I walked in the door. Very friendly people inside. Maybe I will try a few different flavors of their sauce next time and update this post.

Nathan and the rest of the staff are awesome. They really make you feel welcome and appreciated. Yo Mommas has a great selection of local beers and awesome wings. There are weekly specials that keep things interesting too. Trivia night on Wednesdays is a blast!

Decent food. Quick service. Loved the cheap prices.

Yuck - horrible service when they are busy. Don't know what the food tastes like - never was able to order it. Beer is expensive and takes a longtime ordering and delivering basic drink orders.

As requested by Don, I had the wings dining one night here with my boyfriend and his parents. It's a little local spot they like. They were pretty good - big with lots of meat, and the hot ones were REALLY hot. Everyone raved about the fried (they all come this way) corn bread, I just though it was ok, but the onion ring things (forgot the exact name) were good. Overall the menu is small and all just fried, greasy bar food. The place is really nothing to write home about. It's small, a few tables and a few seats at the bar, and the bathrooms are right by the tables. Yuck. The girl who served us was really nice... until she kicked us out early. Who brings a table of 4 people drinking and eating their check early on a Friday night? I was wondering why it arrived, as we had a full table of food and drinks still... and when my bf's parents told me she brought it without asking I was irritated at her. I'm guessing she wanted to clear us out (only people at a table, and we were a "family"). No excuse for that kind of rudeness. I would not go back for food or drinks.

Been there a few times. Terrific burgers! My son likes the pulled pork hotdog. Some of the best service around -- very friendly. It looks like just a bar or tavern, but this is a good place to go with family (even young children) for a good lunch or earlier dinner. Wings are good too -- oh yeah, so is the beer!

Full service bar with good beer on tap. Decent sized interior. Digital jukebox. Not your typical 'take these wings and get out" run-of -the-mill wing shack. Nice little buffalo wing dive bar. Table service available too. The wings are decently seasoned and flavorful, unlike lots of heavily marketed places out there...selling skin...opposed to food, for example.

A cozy, very low-key place. If you need to drink wine in your yoga pants somewhere outside your house, I recommend Yo Mamma's. The prices are great and the service is very good. Not the best food I've ever had, but good for the price. My aunt is a regular here, and coming with her I definitely get the "everybody knows your name" vibe. It would probably be a different story if I came by myself. The crowd of regulars is a friendly group, though, so don't be afraid to sit at the bar and strike up a conversation!

Our favorites are the fantastic crispy wings, & delicious chili with melted cheese & onions on top. They have a great selection of craft beer on tap, which is always fresh. The crowd is fun, & the service is good. We feel so comfortable & relaxed here! Highly recommended!

I went to Yo Mamma's with a few of my buddies when I was visiting home for Christmas; this place was great! Service was phenomenal, and the prices were really good. We had several beers, a lot of which were recommended by the cute bartender, and a TON of wings. The Chesapeake and Rotisserie were my fav, but everything we had was awesome. We had the Yo Nachos too, which were great. One of my buddies got the fried pickles, which he said he liked. (I will never eat pickles, fried or not. Gross) I wish I lived closer, I could see this being my spot to watch games or just to stop by after work. It was pretty full when we went, but the staff were all super friendly and we barely had to wait for food. Love this place, cannot recommend it more.

Excitedly tried this place based on 'reviews' in local free papers - and will not go back. The food was mediocre at best and the service was almost non-existent until time to pay the bill (tip??)

I've been looking for a good barbecue place for awhile so I decided to try this place out. What a let down when they handed me a roll with what appeared to be prepackage pulled pork. One bite and it was confirmed that they really are not a real barbecue establishment. It might be good for the local bar flies but I was looking for something that was better than what I can make in my crock pot.

Eat the wings!

Small place with a bunch of regulars. The setup makes it very loud, especially when music is playing. The menu is uninspired, and both items we had (grilled chicken and the Donnie dog with BBQ) reminded us of cafeteria food. The staff is nice, but didn't bother to write anything down and got parts of it wrong. It took so long to bring out that it wasn't worth sending back.

My husband really wanted to try the place and i was like the yelp reviews aren't that great. Boy were those reviews outdated and so wrong. Service was wonderful, wings were great and i enjoyed the atmosphere...very comfortable. While i was there I did learn its under new ownership so maybe that accounts for how great the experience was. We'll be back...

Great atmosphere and food! Try the corn bread!!! Never made a bad flavor of wings either. Prefer the dry rub BBQ...you won't regret it!

Tuesday is usually "wings night" with my buddies. When I travel, I try to keep the same schedule and so Yo Mamma's was the go to for this particular Tuesday. Yo Mamma is more of a dive bar than a proper chicken wings place. They have a reasonable menu of bar food and they offer a handful of different sauces to go with their boned or boneless wings. Several locals who clearly hang out here a lot. One of those "funniest videos" was on the box for laughs while I ate and these folks put back quite a few drinks. I chose a double dozen boneless wings and asked them to split the sauces between a General Tso and the Chesapeake (dry with Old Bay). Decently meaty but with a *lot* of batter. They were okay. Not great, not bad, just okay. As for the price, well I think $24 for 25 boneless nuggets is a bit steep. On the plus side, they did have decent beer. $40 for wings and two pints.

I know, why is a vegetarian giving a wing place 5 stars? Because Yo Mamma's is amazing. Super friendly atmosphere and staff, lots of fun theme nights such as quiz nights and though I'm not trying the wings, there is, still plenty to eat other than wings (try the veggie sub!) and it is all fabulous. Update: Brunch (blunchfast) also fantastic. Just all around great food and service!
